Ability to update or cancel a pending limit order

Any update on this one please guys? I got burned by this yesterday. The trade interface forces a Limit Order for shares with a low trading volume over a pre-defined trade amount, and I was forced to cancel and place another order after the market moved away from my limit price. Cost me an additional brokerage fee.

Absolutely! I find it rather odd that there is only a "cancel" on the order. This should be standard.

I agree. Limit orders are placed in a queue by the ASX. The ASX allows the following order details to be changed, without you losing your place in the queue: order expiry date; number of shares ordered can be reduced. Pearler only allows cancellation so either, lose your place in the queue, or cannot adjust your order. Instead, could Pearler allow the changes that the ASX allows.

The inability to cancel limit orders after hours is disappointing. Just got caught by it tonight.

Yup, it would be great if we had that feature

Hi Matthew! This is only an issue with limit orders at the moment. We just haven't invested in building an internal queue structure to essentially record your request and execute the cancel later. Limit orders aren't super popular right now, but thanks for this post as if we see it upvoted by enough people over time we'll action it.
