Please reconsider if Pearler still needs to force accounts to provide authority to Direct Debit from a bank account.
DD authority is risky for some users.
There may be times when price fluctuations occur after Pearler have sent a trade to be executed.
In this case, Pearler would allow the account to go into negative balance and automatically withdraw the difference via DD at a later stage, rather than cancelling the order.
This is risky for users who may have committed X-amount of dollars to a trade, only to be overcommitted if the market moves the wrong way underneath the order.
This scenario could send a bank account into overdraft, costing extra bank fees.
The PayID feature now allows for fast manual deposits into our Pearler account.
