Separate "Holdings" and "Other Assets" on Dashboard
no short term plans

Currently the "Net Wealth" figure at the top of the Dashboard, is the total of all Assets. However the Total Earnings figure directly underneath only relates to share holdings. This is a bit confusing as it means the percentage growth figure is misleading, because it is a percentage comparison of two things that aren't the same. The chart then relates to all assets again adding to the confusion.
I would like the dashboard split into the following:
- Total Net Wealth - contains the Total for all assets and the current graph showing growth and another pie chart showing percentage asset allocation.
- Investment Holdings - contains the assets that are held by the account (ie. shares owned by the HIN - bought via peraler or transferred. This would include a total value, earnings and % growth, with a graph showing performance of these assets.
- Other assets - shows a total for each asset classes:
- Cash/Savings
- Property
- Other Investments;
- Super
(I believe there are other feature requests already asking for the ability to assign linked/manual assets to these classes)

Hi Ian, just digging through some older comments. I believe that our addition of categories on the dashboard should solve this problem. We've also added tags that should have helped too. If this is a miss understanding of what you need then let me know and we can leave this as open too.

Hayden Smith: Hi Hayden = the categories helps a little (item 3), but this request was more about the summary details in the Net Wealth section at the top (items 1 and 2).
Some of the data relates to All Assets (ie. Total Net Wealth and the Graph), but some of it only relates to share holdings managed by Pearler (ie. total earnings and total contributions). This is confusing, because they are presented together but don't actually relate.
I think most users would like to be able track progress/growth of two things:
- their share portfolio
- their overall net wealth
Showing separated totals and graphs for each of these would be great.

Venomous Sheep: With the introduction of micro, the earnings now includes micro earnings too, so I do think we'll have a tendency to keep that combined total up the top but if people want to see their specific shares portfolio they can just see the summary a slight scroll down. But I will leave open for now :)

Agree!!
Need to be able to see a portfolio view independant of netwealth view.
