Hi Pearler team!
I would like to have an option to grow my investments by buying shares with an international credit card.
Many thanks!

Provide the ability to set auto-invest with a credit card

I would like to set up an auto-invest from the credit card so I can earn rewards points.
This would be similar to setting up direct debits for utility bills.

Hey RW, just to confirm - you're only interested in this if you can earn points, right?
Context: I'm 90% confident that when you draw down on a credit card for investment purposes it's like withdrawing cash from an ATM - i.e. you would get charged a cash advance interest rate and therefore it makes no sense to do this.
Debit cards don't have an interest rate, but I don't think any have points? They would also have a small card payment processing fee if we were to support them.

Kurt Walkom: Hi Kurt, thanks for your response.
Yes, that is right. Ah I see. I wasn't aware that it would be considered a cash advance. In that case, it will not be very useful.

The only way I can picture earning points on Pearler investments would be like this:
- Pearler accepts BPAY as a payment method
- User pays the BPAY bill via Sniip using their credit card.
You could even set an automatic/recurring payment via Sniip and then have Pearler set up to invest the money once your account balance reaches a certain amount.
Note: Sniip charges a 1.5% fee. However it can be worth it if you value your points higher than that.
