I understand this platform is designed for the long term investor however it would be great to have the option to Stop Loss. Been thinking how it took the Nasdaq took 15 year to reach another high after the tech bubble burst in 2000, would be nice to get out a bit early and have cash to invest later.

This is a top priority for me. We are seeing increased volatility across markets with large swings impacting our portfolios having the ability to place a stop loss as an insurance policy is a must to protect our community

I absolutely AGREE with this and am researching a new platform as without asset protection, we are potentially doomed - it happened to my father in the GFC - there were no stop losses on platforms back then. There are now and SORRY BUT I WILL NOT RISK MY ENTIRE PORTFOLIO AND MY FUTURE. Having read the comments here, stating that this is not a priority. THEN YOU WILL LOSE CUSTOMERS. THIS PLATFORM IS NOT FOR ANYONE WHO IS INTERESTED IN SECURING THEIR FUTURE. SORRY. I AM OUT

What time frame are user's looking at until a stop loss function is added ?
I myself are in the process of slowly moving over to another broker just because this lack of control over my own funds especially with my job role it's difficult to watch the market closely at all times.

Hi,
STOP LOSS is a basic feature to address the volatility in the market created by false news etc.
I will be changing my platform for trading till you can add this feature.

Its come to my attention that not only is there not a stop loss feature, but I am unable to set 2 x sell orders at different values on the one stock - effectively meaning that my stock is at risk of market dynamics which is particularly scary as we come into the most volatile months of the calendar.
Please encourage this to become a new feature of the platform:
- a stop loss feature; and / or
- the ability to make two sell orders at different prices on the same stock
