Widgets and WatchOS Complication

Hi just wanted to say I love the features you guys have put out so far and how easy to use the platform has been to get started with.
I was hoping you might consider adding an IOS homescreen widget? Something simply such as portfolio value with a % gain or increase for the day would be a great start. It would probably make an excellent mid sized widget. For the larger widget maybe you could also display the portfolio value but then perhaps the days biggest gainers?
If it’s not too much trouble I’d also like you to consider adding an Apple Watch complication. Hopefully just displaying portfolio current value?
Thank you all for everything you’ve put out so far. I look forward to seeing where this all goes in the future!

Seems like the widget on iOS has stopped working. Is anyone else experiencing this? I’m just seeing a blank graph with no numbers attributed.

Just an appreciation post. I _really_ like this widget. It is exactly what I was looking for.

Hi all, ive combined a bunch of widget feature requests together. Currently we are missing Android widgets, which are on our task list.
One question we want to ask our users is what size (large) and type (goals, asset list etc) of widgets they would want to see added in the future.
Another thing for iOS users, is would you like to see a lock screen widget? Or do you generally stay way from putting these private dollar values on your lock screen.

Claude Sortwell:
> what size
I’d prefer small (4x app icons on iOS) if the info can fit, or medium (8x app icons) otherwise, or the choice of either :D
> what type
For my use case, I’d want total holdings value (as configured in the app, ie if something is excluded there, exclude in widget too) and earnings percent. It looks like this might be what the widget does now (though I can’t tell, not quite working yet). Optionally, earnings value would be nice too.
> iOS Lock Screen widget
I probably wouldn’t use it. But earnings percent could go there without exposing dollar values.

Claude Sortwell: small and medium widgets are my favourite.
Total portfolio value or todays gain/loss (% or $). Even todays biggest movers would be cool to see at a glance along with % gain/loss.
I would also love a Lock Screen widget. Again could even just be todays % gain/loss if your worried about privacy. Or total portfolio value for people who aren’t.
Maybe even a widget for upcoming dividends? Or most recently paid ones?

Hey all, just want to add that we have added our first home screen widget for iOS only at the moment. Make sure your on the latest app update then add the widget to your home screen like any other app. It is a net wealth widget. Let us know what you think of it and any other widget ideas you may have. Thanks Pearler Team

Claude Sortwell: thanks, I’ve downloaded it and had it active and enabled since it was released and so far it just shows a blank amount. Tried adding and deleting and no luck yet.

Cameron Potter: Did you follow the settings to set it up, by opening the pearler app -> settings -> app settings -> widget settings? If your still having problems reach out to customer support where we can take a deeper look.
Cameron Potter
Claude Sortwell: yep activated all of that on the backend. I’ll reach out to support.

Cameron Potter: Hey Cameron, just an update i've identified a problem with some users and the widget. Confirmed its the same problem your having. Hoping to have an update out tonight to fix it.
Cameron Potter
Claude Sortwell: hi Claude, I’ve updated the app and reinstalled the widget. Still seems broken.
Claude Sortwell
Cameron Potter: Hi Cameron, sorry about that. Widgets are broken for everyone today. We are working on an app update and I will reply here when it’s live.
Claude Sortwell
Cameron Potter: Hey Cameron, the app just got released. It might take a few hours to show up on the app store. The new version is 20.8.9.
Cameron Potter
Claude Sortwell: It works! Great job!
